2nd Place
· $5,000 scholarship for each team member

3rd Place
· $2,000 scholarship for each team member
· Recognition at the Grand Awards Ceremony at the ICDC
· $2,500 classroom grant for advisors and a trophy for their classroom
SCHOLARSHIP REGULATIONS
- Students awarded scholarships will have three years following graduation to enroll in a college
- Extensions may be requested by contacting DECA
- Once a student has designated a college, DECA will establish a debit account with the school's financial aid office and deposit half into a financial aid account
- Scholarship funds can be used for the following school expenses:
· Room and board (only student housing)
· Books
· Tuition
- In the event school expenses total less than the scholarship amount the student may carry the funds over to the next semester/school year
- Students must maintain a 3.0 grade average
· A transcript must be submitted at the close of each semester to release the second portion of scholarship money
- Students who win a National Challenge scholarship are eligible to participate and win the National Challenge the following year; if still a high school student
