Virtual Business Sports Challenge #2 Hints
- When you open the competition file, you have too many workers staffed for certain positions and too few staffed for other positions. If you don't staff your parking lot operations adequately, you will cause bottle necks.
- Parking cahiers, parking security and parking attendants help to make sure that cars enter the stadium parking lot quickly and safely. If you don't have enough, you may cause a traffic jam in the city or accidents in the parking lot. The city will fine your franchise for traffic jams.
- Ticket takers and ticket sellers make sure that fans get through the gates efficiently. If you don't have enough, fans may not get through the gates before half time and you will have to refund ticket sales.
- You are not leasing any satellite parking lots. You may find it necessary to do so to accommodate the overflow of cars from your stadium parking lot. Be sure to lease buses for your satellite lots so that fans may be shuttled to/from the stadium.
- When you open the competition file, you are not running any promotions. Utilize Promotions to create some incentive for fans to attend your franchise's football games.
- The Market Research action has been made available so that you can survey the population to help plan your promotional strategy. Utilization of the Promotion screen and the Survey Results screen will help you to determine low cost, high cost, low appeal and high appeal promotional items.
- Make sure you run through the current Challenge file over and over again, trying different strategies each time in order to try to improve upon your score (total profit). You may upload as many scores as you would like. We will always rank you based on your best score. Good luck!
